I've been working across S.E.Asia for the last thirty five years - the first 24 in Hong Kong focusing on k-12 education and the continuing professional development of teachers in an international environment. Since 2002 I've been living in Chiangmai, Thailand, working across the region within my own consultancy "The Education Project Asia' supporting teachers and life-long learners related to educational technology. My primary guidelines have always been to support the 'self esteem' of all individuals I've been fortunate to work with ... if people feel good about themselves then they can achieve the impossible. In parallel with this belief is also to realise the collaborative nature of learning and also that of self-directed learning as necessary life skills for 21st century citizens.
